German esports data company Bayes Esports has expanded into the United States and will now operate in New Jersey and Colorado.

The data company has also expanded its partnership with betting company bet365 in the region and has become an official licensed esports data supplier in the two mentioned states.

Bayes Esports is primarily known for being a provider of data for esports tournament organisers, game publishers and betting platforms. Bayes is a partner of ESL Gaming, Riot Games, Beyond the Summit, OGA, BETER and other notable players in the esports industry. Bayes Esports uses official publisher game data, which is crucial during the process of protecting the integrity of esports betting.

Due to being an official licensed esports data supplier in the states of Colorado and New Jersey, Bayes Esports can now provide its services to betting operators that work in these states.

Earlier in the year, Bayes also launched its odds integration platform, BODEX, to allow for easier access to data.

Moreover, the company secured €6m (~£5.1m) through an investment round. Bayes Esports noted in the announcement that the company aimed to start operations in the USA after the investment, and has now managed to do so.

Amir Mirzaee, COO and Managing Director of Bayes Esports, noted: “he betting market in the US is changing and while it is still lagging behind its European counterpart, it without a doubt will be one of the biggest and most relevant markets in the near future.

“Out of all the states, New Jersey and Colorado happened to be the most progressive and open to innovation, but we expect others to follow suit very shortly.”
