Indian esports organisation ENTITY Gaming has announced a partnership with sports betting company PARI ahead of Dota 2’s The International.

As a result, the bookmaker will become the official title sponsor for ENTITY during the tournament, which is set to commence its group stage later this month.

PARI is a Russian esports and sports betting app which started accepting bets in 2022. Not much is known about the company, apart from it having a betting app for all smartphone platforms. PARI and ENTITY did not disclose any additional details of the partnership, aside from it being focused on The International.

Competitively, ENTITY has experienced a solid run leading up to The International. The Indian organisation decided to operate a European roster which competed in the European Qualifiers for the biggest Dota 2 tournament of the year. Its run included beating last year’s champions Team Spirit, as well as Team Liquid and Alliance. This is ENTITY’s first sponsorship for its European division.

The International 11 main event will be played from October 15th – 30th in Singapore and is set to feature a prize pool of over $40m (~£36.1m). The tournament itself consists of a number of different stages and will be played across two stadiums this year.

Varun Bhavnani, Director & CGO of Entity Gaming: “We are extremely excited to announce our very first sponsor for the European arm of our team. We take pride in being a dark horse team coming up from Division 2 to competing at TI-11 in a span of a few months.

“We are gearing up for the upcoming Dota Pro Circuit season and are glad to have PARI backing us to propel the team to become the best in the world.”
