Esports tournament organiser BLAST Premier has secured a partnership with German esports data company Bayes Esports until 2024.

As part of the two-year deal, live data from all BLAST Premier events will be made available to Bayes’ entire partnership network.

In addition, both entities aim to make data more accessible to teams and fans through historic data access, statistics, and visualisations — whilst ensuring the integrity of competitions is maintained.

BLAST Premier joins League of Legends esports and ESL as exclusive partners of Bayes Esports. According to the data company, the deal rounds off its content portfolio and offers official live data from the leading trinity of esports events organisers.

To put this into perspective, in total, the tournaments that will start being covered by Bayes Esports are responsible for more than 80% of turnover generated in the official esports betting market. The data company’s network ranges from high-level betting operators, such as bet365 and GGBet, to odds and service providers, such as BETER and Sportsflare.

Moreover, both companies are also looking to create data-driven solutions that contribute to improving the overall fan experience. Project V, a tool that allows for the automation of content creation, is amongst these solutions that are actively being developed
