UK-based sim racing team Apex Racing Team (ART) has announced a partnership with PC manufacturer Stormforce Gaming.

As a result, the two parties will join forces to launch the Stormforce Gaming ART team which will compete in the 2023 Porsche Esports Supercup (PESC).

The opening round of the PESC takes place on February 4th and will see 30 drivers compete in ten races for a share of $200,000 (~£163,130) in prize money. Stormforce Gaming ART will race alongside ART’s own entries in the competition using the iRacing platform.

In addition to entering a team in the PESC, Apex Racing Team and Stormforce Gaming will collaborate on a research and design project to create a range of gaming PCs focused on sim racing. Following the project, Stormforce Gaming will launch the range of PCs on its website in addition to providing ART drivers with hardware for its racing simulators.

Stormforce Gaming is no stranger to the esports industry. In 2017, it sponsored UK-based organisation MnM Gaming and supports a number of content creators through its affiliate programme.

Founded in 2012, Apex Racing Team has become a household name in the world of sim racing. Recently, it was named a partner team for ESL R1, a new sim racing competition organised by ESL FACEIT Group and sim racing platform RENNSPORT.

Marc Faulkner, Digital Sales Coordinator for Stormforce Gaming, spoke on the deal: “From the moment I first spoke to Alex, I knew that ART was the ideal partner for Stormforce, and it has become clear that we had a shared vision for long-term collaboration, technical excellence and mutual success.

“We’re excited to have the opportunity to be taking the lead on such a unique R&D  project…and of course to hopefully see Stormforce Racing ART on the podium!”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
