Asian esports organisation Talon Esports has renewed its partnership with energy drink brand GBeat.
The partnership will see Talon continue to promote the energy drink brand with new activations and co-branded content. The drink will also remain the official energy drink partner for Talon’s Arena of Valor team.
GBeat is an energy drink brand based in Thailand which is aimed towards esports athletes and gamers. The brand first announced its partnership with Talon in May 2022, and the extension comes not even a full year after the initial deal. The partnership with Talon was the brand’s first deal with an esports organisation.
The partnership is mostly focused on Talon’s Arena of Valor team. The team is one of the most successful in the mobile MOBA title, with one World Championship title and two domestic Pro League titles to their name. The extension will see GBeat remain the official drink sponsor for the team, but the two companies did not announce any details about the length of the partnership this time around.
Sean Zhang, CEO of Talon Esports, commented on the deal: “Our players’ success on the field is a testament to their intense focus and commitment to their craft. We are thrilled to continue our partnership with GBeat, which fuels our players to their best performance.”
The partnership comes a short time after Talon Esports announced a large-scale partnership with AfreecaTV ahead of its campaign in the VCT, the regional league for Riot Games’ FPS game VALORANT. Talon Esports is also known for its long-lasting partnership with French football club PSG, with its League of Legends division co-branded as PSG Talon.
