Game developer KRAFTON has announced a unique partnership with Indian esports organisation S8UL.

The deal will be centred around the Indian launch of KRAFTON’s latest mobile game, Road to Valor: Empires. As a result, S8UL will help promote the game through its portfolio of creators.

Developed by KRAFTON, alongside its subsidiary Dreamotion, Road to Valor: Empires is a real-time PVP strategy game. The game launched globally last year, however, the title has now been released in India.

S8UL is a highly recognised esports organisation in India. The company won ‘Content Group of the Year’ at the 2022 Esports Awards and last month secured a significant VALORANT partnership with VCT partner team Global Esports.

In the announcement, S8UL’s Co-owners Animesh Agarwal and Lokesh Jain highlighted that as talent partners, the organisation will provide the “necessary support to showcase the game to the Indian audience”. This includes creating opportunities for Indian gamers, streamers and esports players.

Whilst specific activations were not revealed, the Co-owners also teased ‘fun surprises’ both in-game and through its gamers.

We are happy to partner with them for Road To Valor: Empires and are confident that this partnership will manifest into creating greater opportunities for the industry and further drive the popularity of gaming in India.

With the addition of Hindi as a language option and unique curated features, we hope players have a great time exploring the world of mythical and historical civilizations.”

KRAFTON is perhaps most known as the company behind PUBG and PUBG: Mobile, the latter of which was a major hit in India prior to its ban, subsequent relaunching and then removal again.
