The two organisations will work together on charity projects aimed at providing medical assistance for populations in crisis-hit areas around the world.

MSF branding will be featured on Team BDS jerseys, and a percentage of each jersey sold will go directly to MSF.

Headquartered in Switzerland, Médecins Sans Frontières is one of the best-known non profit organisations in the world. It works in war-torn areas around the world and aids victims of disasters regardless of their political, religious and other beliefs.

The partnership with Team BDS marks the first time MSF has partnered with an esports team. Apart from the aforementioned jersey sponsorship, the two parties said they plan on working on more projects together in the future.

Team BDS announced that it wants to help mobilise donations and participate in the funding of MSF’s actions. The esports team will organise a solidarity stream later this year and will promote MSF on its Twitch channel to further amplify the reach of the non-profit organisation.

In addition, Team BDS will help promote MSF’s actions and news, and will integrate a feature to its online store to benefit MSF.

Patrice Bailo de Spoelberch, Founder of Team BDS, said: “With this partnership, Team BDS aims to highlight the values and commitment of MSF, which supports endangered populations without any discrimination based on ethnicity, religion, gender, or politics.

“Through its engagement, Team BDS, with its recent growth, hopes to touch and sensitize its fans and esports fans in general to bring visibility and support to MSF’s actions.”
