German esports data company Bayes Esports has announced a partnership with South Korean esports technology company Team Snowball.

The three-year partnership will see Team Snowball become the exclusive solutions and distribution partner for Bayes in South Korea.

Team Snowball is an esports solutions company from South Korea which operates two main products: WagerCast, a prediction and quiz platform for esports audiences, and nunu.gg, a data solution for League of Legends esports.

The company is a partner of the country’s top flight League of Legends league, the LCK, as well as the Korean Esports Association and Team Korea in Esports.

In a first for Bayes, the company will work with an outside company on solutions and distribution of services. Team Snowball will be the exclusive representative of Bayes Esports in South Korea.

The two companies also plan to work together on creating new products for the South Korean market, one of the oldest and most famous esports markets in the world.

The partnership is a part of Bayes’ global expansion policy which was announced several times in the recent months, and supported by the recent investment that brought the overall money Bayes Esports raised to €9m (~£8m).

Amir Mirzaee, Managing Director and CCO for Bayes Esports, said: “South Korea has always played a leading and integral role in taking esports to the mainstream with globally influential organisations such as the LCK and KeSPA.

“We see it as a privilege to be supported by top partners like Team Snowball and BITKRAFT in our endeavour to work with the regional powerhouses.”
