Rob Proctor, the former CEO of esports entertainment company Allied Esports International, has been revealed as the new Chief Revenue Officer for esports stadium and venue company Glytch.

Proctor’s main task at Glytch will be to scale and execute the company’s plans to build more than 30 planned esports stadiums in the United States and Canada. Proctor will also work on a content strategy for the company.

Proctor is an experienced executive with more than three decades of business experience. In the esports industry, he is most known for his role as CEO of Allied Esports International, a position he took after the former CEO of the company Jud Hannigan left the company in October 2022. His departure leaves Allied Esports in search for a second CEO in just over a year.

Before joining the esports company, Proctor worked as CEO of podcast company Audioboom for over seven years.

Proctor joins Glytch during a time of growth for the company. Earlier this year, the venue-focused company brought Jordan Rambis and Johnathan Wendel onboard as members of its Advisory Board, and is working on creating a large-scale esports venue in Columbus, Ohio. This is a part of an ambitious plan of more than 30 esports-focused venues in North America, a daring task in 2023.

Rob Proctor, new CRO of Glytch, commented: “Glytch is undoubtedly the most forward-thinking esports and Gen Z media and live entertainment company in the industry today.

“Having been involved with elite esports as CEO of Allied Esports International, I believe that Glytch’s approach addresses the huge opportunity of bringing competitive gaming to the mass market.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
