Set to take place July 7th-9th in Indonesia, the Bali Major is the third and final Major of the 2023 Dota Pro Circuit. As a result, this will be the last opportunity for teams to secure qualification points for this year’s The International.

According to a release, the partnership between all parties aims to ‘elevate the event to new heights’, hinting that further activations could take place during the competition. Aside from the giveaway, no further plans have been disclosed.

In terms of viewership, the game’s previous two Majors this year have garnered peak figures of 507,600 (Berlin Major) and 491,000 (Lima Major), according to Esports Charts.

Joining H&M as a sponsor for the event will be Acer Indonesia, nut brand Sukro and gaming chair company DXRacer. Overall, 18 teams will compete at the Bali Major, including the likes of Tundra Esports, Gaimin Gladiators and Team Liquid.

Dan Mejia, Regional Head of Communications and PR, Region South Asia, H&M, commented: “Our customers are at the heart of every decision we make at H&M, and we are continually working to build long-term relationships with them while understanding their needs and perspectives.

“We see the potential of the rapidly growing esports industry as a platform for us to reach and connect with our younger customers in the places that matter to them, and are proud to join hands with Epulze and IO Esports as the official fashion partner for the Bali Major.”
