Chinese esports organisation JDG Esports has opened its new headquarters in Yizhuang, a district in the southeast of Beijing, China.

With over 15,000mq of space, the HQ will serve as a venue for the organisation’s competitive rosters as well as its business operations.

According to a post on LinkedIn, the area has a total of five floors, with an event space on the first floor. In a previous interview with JDG Esports, the team explained how its esports venue is commercialised and how much space has been integral to the partnership strategy.

The second floor features an integrated office area while the third floor is a “live streaming base”. On the last two floors, the space will be used by players for training as well as accommodation.

Esports Insider has reached out to JDG for more insights on the announcement and will update this article if more information is supplied.

JDG Esports is the esports branch of the Chinese company Jing Dong, one of the country’s biggest e-commerce platforms. The holding group, JD.com Inc., also owns several other branches, which include JD Health and JD Technology, among others.

The esports organisation currently competes in League of Legends, VALORANT, Peacekeeper Elite, Naraka Bladepoint, and Honor of Kings, the latter of which is due to the acquisition of a KPL franchise slot from Vici Gaming.

Earlier this year, the team announced a sponsorship deal with German supplement brand Doppelherz and car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover, becoming its exclusive automobile partner. Aside from these two brands, JDG Esports also counts on partners such as Intel, ASUS ROG, BOE Technology Group, streaming platform Huya, condom brand Durex, electric motor brand NIU, and gaming chair brand AutoFull.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
