Indian esports technology and production company AA Gaming has launched a gaming and esports platform AA Play.
The app will allow users in India to participate in tournaments, buy gaming merchandise and other physical and in-game items, as well as connect to other players.
Founded in 2021, AA Gaming focuses on tournament organisation, white-label broadcast suites and event management. According to a release, the company has launched AA Play as an “answer to the needs of gamers in India.”
The platform itself has three distinct features. The first is tournament organisation, which allows users to join competitions in a range of games. According to AA Gaming, “the platform will have constant esports competitions for aspiring esports athletes across a plethora of titles.” In addition to the tournament system, a social segment will also be available at launch, allowing players to create communities for specific games, organise meetups and connect.
The third feature, set to become available later, is a marketplace where users can buy merchandise and in-game items. AA Gaming did not share when this feature will be launched.
