Esports tournament organiser ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) has been named as the presenting partner of the 2024 ESIC Global Esports Summit, an event organised by the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC).

The event, taking place from October 3rd to 4th, aims to bring together industry stakeholders from across the world.

This year’s ESIC Global Esports Summit is the first time it has taken place in the United States. It coincides with DreamHack Atlanta and gives attendees the opportunity to engage with stakeholders and attend a range of workshops that focus on ‘the latest developments, challenges, and opportunities’ within the esports industry.

Alongside the workshops, the Summit will feature presentations and panels covering a variety of industry topics with a focus on integrity and fair play.

In May 2024, ESIC established an advisory board in partnership with executives from EFG and fellow tournament organiser BLAST. In June, it partnered with the International Olympic Committee in an initiative designed to combat misconduct within esports.

ESL FACEIT Group remains one of the largest esports tournament organisers in the world. In August, it secured a multi-year deal with the Esports World Cup alongside extending its existing deal with logistics company DHL.

Stephen Hanna, CEO of ESIC, spoke on the news: “We are happy to partner with ESL FACEIT Group to bring the ESIC Global Esports Summit to the United States for the first time.

“This collaboration allows us to create a space where industry leaders can come together to discuss the critical issues affecting esports today and in the future. Atlanta is a thriving hub for esports, and the perfect location for this important event.”
