Nerd Street-owned North American gaming and esports venue Localhost has announced a partnership with PC peripherals manufacturer Higround.

As a result of the deal, the manufacturer’s range of keyboards will be integrated into Localhost’s Denver venue.

According to a release, Higround’s keyboards will feature at over ‘100 PC gaming stations’ within the venue in addition to ‘branding strategically placed’ throughout the venue. Alongside in-person brand integration, Higround will also feature across Localhost’s social media channels.

Founded in 2020, Higround became known for its limited-edition keyboards sold in drops and partnering with headphone brand Beats. In October 2021, the manufacturer was acquired by North American esports organisation 100 Thieves.

In addition to its range of keyboards, the company unveiled Yuma, its first-ever wireless mouse set to release on September 13th. Higround states the release of its mouse is ‘the beginning’ with more products set to be released in the future.

Alongside its Denver venue, Localhost has facilities in Philadelphia and Rowan University, New Jersey.

John Fazio, CEO of Nerd Street, spoke on the partnership: “We pride ourselves on delivering an unparalleled in-person experience at our venues, and Higround is helping us deliver on that mission.

“The keyboards have already received an overwhelmingly positive reception by Localhost customers.”
