Former professional Counter-Strike player and current analyst Jacob ‘Pimp’ Winneche has joined Team Vitality as the organisation’s official ambassador.
According to a release, the Dane will help the French organisation expand its international presence by creating exclusive content for the team.
Fans will also witness Pimp provide commentary during Counter-Strike 2 tournaments while offering strategic insights. This includes the ongoing 2025 Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Katowice, which is scheduled to run until February 9th.
Before officially retiring in 2020 from the competitive CS, Pimp was part of esports organisations such as Team Liquid and SK Gaming. Currently, he boasts over 500,000 followers on Twitch and 330,000 on TikTok, making him one of the leading voices in the CS2 community.
“I’m extremely excited to join the Team Vitality family as a Brand Ambassador. I keep esports, sports and health close to my heart, and I’ll fight for them for years to come. Doing so under the Team Vitality umbrella is a perfect fit for me,” said Pimp.
Before joining Team Vitality, Pimp was a streamer for 00 Nation and has appeared as an analyst at major events such as BLAST Premier: World Final 2024, IEM Cologne 2024 and Esports World Cup 2024.
Pimp will also be joined by Thomas ‘Laink’ Iturralde and Damien ‘Terracid’ Laguionie, who will co-cast all of Team Vitality’s IEM Katowice 2025 matches on their Twitch channel, WankilStudio. The French pair has over 2.6m subscribers on YouTube and 1.3m followers on Twitch.
“For years we’ve dreamed of commentating on professional matches, and it’s an honour to finally achieve this dream with an organisation as prestigious as Team Vitality,” said Terracid.
Outside of Counter-Strike, Team Vitality recently announced Ardiis as an ambassador to support its VALORANT roster by co-streaming matches and creating content for the organisation.
