Elisa Esports has announced the Elisa Nordic Championship 2025, a €100,000 (~£83,000) Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) tournament taking place in Vaasa, Finland.

From May 20th-24th, the event will bring together eight tier-two teams from Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway.

The inaugural edition of the Championship will feature two squads from each of the four participating regions. Contestants will begin their run through a double-elimination bracket with the closed studio phase from May 20th -22nd.

The arena phase will then see the remaining top four teams compete in front of a live audience at Vaasa Sähkö Arena.

All matches will be best-of-threes (BO3s) except for the best-of-one (BO1) Upper Bracket Quarterfinals and Semifinals.

Tickets for the second stage will be available from March 1st on the tournament website. Moreover, all matches will be broadcast in English and Finnish on the respective Elisa Esports Twitch channels.

Interested CS2 teams can qualify through different competitions depending on their home country:

  • Finland: Elisa Open Suomi Season 8 and 9
  • Sweden: Sverige Open 2025
  • Denmark: Dust2.dk Ligaen Season 28
  • Norway: MistGames Norwegian Championship Season 1 and 2

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
