VALORANT has unveiled the VCT 2025 Season Capsule, a new bundle containing in-game items inspired by the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT).

The bundle enables players to support the tactical shooter title’s esports leagues and partner teams competing within the ecosystem.

The Season Capsule contains a skin for the Karambit melee weapon with colours that represent all four international VALORANT leagues: EMEA, Americas, Pacific and China. Moreover, the bundle will include Player Cards that aim to ‘celebrate the identity’ of each league and four Gun Buddies inspired by each region.

Alongside providing players with new cosmetic items, the Season Capsule is another initiative by Riot Games where revenue generated is split across the four VCT leagues and the teams that are members of the partner programme.

Riot says the aim is to provide fans with ‘multiple ways to support teams in the VCT’. Moreover, the introduction of the Season Capsule provides an alternative to Team Capsules.

The developer and publisher revealed that some esports organisations benefitted more from the Team Capsules than others, resulting in a larger-than-intended disparity.

In addition, Riot Games states that the new Capsule will raise ‘the baseline for all competitors’ fielding rosters across VALORANT’s top tier of competition.

Introducing the Season Capsule to VALORANT follows a hugely successful year of sales for Riot Games. In December 2024, it was revealed that the VCT had generated $44.3m (~£35.8m) from the digital goods sold for teams throughout last year.

VCT 2025 Season Capsule release date

The 2025 Season Capsules will be available for players to purchase on February 6th, 2025 at 10 PM GMT. The capsules will remain in the in-game store until the conclusion of VCT Masters Bangkok.

Taking place from February 20th until March 2nd, the event is the first Masters event of the 2025 VALORANT season. Eight teams will compete for a share of a $500,000 (~£404,185) prize pool.

VCT 2025 Team Capsules are already available on the VALORANT in-game esports store.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
