ESL Pro League Season 21 Playoffs: Qualified teams and predictions

Following two stages of competition, the ESL Pro League Season 21 Playoffs are set. Out of the 24 teams competing in the long-standing Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) league, eight have booked their place in the final stage of the competition.

The competition organised by ESL FACEIT Group features some of the best teams in the world competing for the lion’s share of $400,000 (~£309,334) in prize money. Here, find all of the teams that have qualified for the ESL Pro League Season 21 Playoffs and a closer look at the teams in contention for victory.

ESL Pro League Season 21 Playoff Teams

The following teams will compete in the Playoffs of the Pro League:

  • Team Spirit
  • Team Vitality
  • MOUZ
  • NAVI
  • The MongolZ
  • Team Liquid
  • Eternal Fire
  • G2 Esports

The Stage 2 matches ended on March 11th, 2025, with Team Liquid, Eternal Fire, and G2 Esports taking the final Playoff places.

Team Liquid is the sole North American representative after defeating 3DMAX in the fifth and final round of Stage 2.

G2 Esports saw off GamerLegion with a 2-1 win, while Eternal Fire beat Team Falcons 2-1.

ESL Pro League Season 21 Playoff Predictions

There are several teams in with a chance of walking away victorious from the ESL Pro League Season 21 Playoffs.

IEM Katowice champions Team Vitality is looking to continue its strong start to 2025 with another victory in ESL competitions. The acquisition of Robin ‘ropz‘ Kool in January has certainly made an impact.

Team Spirit‘s 2025 season has also started well, with first place at BLAST Bounty Spring and the runners-up to Team Vitality at Katowice.

MOUZ is another team capable of taking the top step after winning PGL Cluj-Napoca with a 3-1 victory over Team Falcons in the final. With Dorian ‘xertioN‘ Berman and Jimi ‘Jimpphat‘ Salo both signing multi-year extensions, the German organisation is in a good spot to dominate.
