PUBG Esports, the esports circuit for the free-to-play battle royale title, has unveiled the PUBG Players Tour, a brand-new tier of competition.

Open to EMEA and the Americas, the new circuit provides amateur players with an opportunity to experience competitive play for the first time.

Sign-ups for the inaugural seasons for both regions are open now, with each one featuring a $139,000 (~£107,411) prize pool. PUBG Esports reveals that ‘there’s never been a better time to dip your toes into competitive play.’

PUBG Players Tour 2025 Format

The PUBG Players Tour will be played using the third-person perspective and consist of several events known as the Scrims, Cups and Masters tournaments.

Scrims take place every week, with teams having the opportunity to play across four matches days. The top eight teams from the Scrims leaderboard will qualify for the Players Cup, along with 10 invited teams.

The PUBG Players Cups will involve the battle royale’s regional partner teams and will offer cash prizes to the best-placing teams. The top eight teams from the Players Cups will qualify for the Masters.

Every fortnight, a PUBG Players Super Cup or a Masters tournament will take place. Featuring larger prize pools than the weekly Cups, the Masters competitions are described as ‘one of the biggest events of the year.’

Scrims begin on March 17th, 2025 and run until July 17th. The Masters and Super Cup events take place from April until the end of July.

Following the tournaments during the first half of the year, the second half will follow a similar pattern. Exact dates on the second half of the year

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
