PUBG Esports has published a major update for the upcoming 2025 season, announcing six global tournaments comprising the PUGB Global Series (PGS), the PUBG Nations Cup (PNC) and the PUBG Global Championship (PGC).

The PNC has been confirmed for 2025 following its success in 2024, which reached a peak viewership of over 500,000. Additionally, game publisher KRAFTON has announced an update regarding the Global Partner Team programme, which currently includes 10 esports teams.

While the programme won’t expand to more than ten teams, KRAFTON has stated all organisations will undergo an evaluation process with new applicants potentially joining the Global Partner Team programme next season. Current organisations included in the programme are 17 Gaming, FaZe CLAN, Four Angry Men, Gen.G, NAVI, Petrichor Road, Soniqs, Twisted Minds, CERBERUS Esports and Daytrade Gaming. The latter two were added at the start of 2024 as two new entries to the programme.

Selected partner teams will be able to lock their seeding at the PUBG Global Series, guaranteeing them participation at the majority of the PUBG global events in 2025. Teams will be able to submit their application for the PUBG Global Partner Team Programme 2025 starting from December 1st, 2024, with the selection process to be completed by February 2025.

With the conclusion of the PUBG Nations Cup, which saw South Korea triumph, teams are currently preparing for the final three events before the 2024 season ends.

PSG 5 and PSG 6 will take place in October and November, respectively, with each event featuring the 10 Global Partner Teams and 14 Regional Series Qualifiers from five regions: China, Korea, EMEA, APAC and the Americas. In December, the best teams in the world will compete in the PUBG Global Championship in Kuala Lumpur, featuring a prize pool of $1.5m (~£1.1m).

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
