Marvel Rivals Fight Night #9 has concluded, with FlyQuest and Virtus.Pro walking out victorious and proceeding as the champions to beat for the event’s 10th edition.
FlyQuest came out on top in North America (NA) after defeating Sentinels, while Virtus.pro once again proved to be the apex team of the Marvel Rivals European scene.
FlyQuest Defeat Reigning Champions Sentinels in NA
entinels looked nearly unstoppable after defeating 100 Thieves and Shikigami 3-0 in the last Fight Night. However, FlyQuest, despite recently losing one of its Vanguard players, came into the event swinging, defeating Luminosity in the challengers match before facing Sentinels in the finals.
FlyQuest ultimately prevailed with a landslide victory, defeating Sentinels 3-0. After two consecutive wins, it came down to a close final match where FlyQuest won 5-4 on Central Park.

During the livestream, Chris ‘Puckett’ Puckett, commentator for Rivals Fight Night NA, said: “Man, I’m really impressed by this team. Because they looked a little shaky in their previous meta, they were trying to play a lot of dive, and a lot of these anti-dive elements were like shutting it down.
“But look, it’s all about making the best of these kind of meta games, and what the game serves up, and I think FlyQuest have done that here. This is a really important game, it’s a signpost, I think, for where we are in NA Marvel Rivals.”
Virtus.pro Can’t Stop Winning in Marvel Rivals
Overseas, Virtus.pro once again prove to be amongst the strongest teams in EU after defeating both challengers, Supremacy and Brr Brr Patapim.
This doesn’t come as a shock to those following the scene, as Virtus.pro have won the most tournaments in Europe, including the previous Fight Night #8.
Brr Brr Patapim defeated Supremacy in the Challengers match 3-0, progressing in the hopes of getting payback against Virtus.pro. However, history would repeat itself once again as the organisation lost to Virtus.pro.

State of the Ecosystem in Marvel Rivals Esports
It’s been interesting to see how the two scenes have developed. While North America’s best team has regularly shifted around from 100 Thieves in the NA Invitational to Sentinels in recent times, Virtus.pro has, since Season 1, remained at the top of the EU scene.
During the EU livestream, Andrew ‘ZP’ Rush, Commentator for Rivals Fight Night EU, said: “You can make a case with some of the NA teams, but the reality is that VP has been consistent and untouched, whereas NA has had roster mania.
“NA has had a lot of shifts, twists and turns. Who’s at the top? Right now it’s Sentinels, but maybe it’s someone else in a few weeks. NA has not had the consistency that EU has had on the very top.”
