DXRacer has announced that it is entering a global partnering with Counter-Strike legend, Kenny ‘kennyS’ Schrub.
The 2015 DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca champion and MVP recipient will become DXRacer’s first Global Brand Ambassador, promoting the brand’s full range of gaming chairs and desks.
To commemorate the partnership, the Martian-Pro Series electric gaming chair will make its debut as DXRacer’s first fully motorised chair. The chair features motorised adjustments for one-touch reclines (90°–135°) and boasts 360 hours of battery life. It also features heating, eight-point vibration massag, and lumbar support.
DXRacer brings in kennyS, one of the most well-known athletes in the Counter-Strike esports scene. Renowned as one of the best AWPers in the scene, kennyS has played for organisations such as G2 Esports and Envy. He’s achieved first place in tournaments such as the Champions Cup 2019, 2017’s ESL Pro League Season 5 Finals and more.
He last played with True Rippers Esports, where he came second in BLAST The Draft Season 1 in 2024. Now, the ex-professional player focuses on content creation, with over 1m followers on Twitch and 200,000 subscribers on YouTube.
In a press release shared with Esports Insider, DXRacer details collaborative efforts between the brand ands kennyS spanning over a decade.
DXRacer said: “The bond between DXRacer and kennyS originated in esports’ pioneering era. When the French prodigy first donned his Team EnVyUs jersey to launch his career, DXRacer forged an inseparable alliance with him.
“From his rookie days grinding through LAN cafe qualifiers to his ascent as the ‘AWP Deity’ on Major stages, from meticulous equipment adjustments to triumphant roars under the spotlight, DXRacer stood as his silent ally through every pivotal match point.”
DXRacer’s has a motorsports heritage, where its predecessor excelled in creating FIA-certified racing seats. After three years and over 10,000 tests later, the brand pivoted towards gaming chairs.
The brand has partnered with premier leagues such as Counter-Strike 2 event MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025, and other teams globally in the past. It remains the official seat for many of China’s top esports circuits.
