Esports Awards has announced the Decade Awards, a special edition of the awards show that celebrates the icons, teams and moments that have defined the esports industry over the last 10 years.
The special edition will see the evaluation window focus on long-term impact, consistency and influence across esports.
The Decade Awards will have a total of 14 categories, including Esports Game of the Decade, Streamer of the Decade, Esports Team of the Decade and more. Esports Insider has also been nominated as one of the six outlets for the Esports Content & Coverage Platform of the Decade.
The ceremony will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on August 10th, following the three-year partnership with the Esports World Cup. As part of the partnership, Esports Awards will offer exclusive co-streams and content around the EWC. The event will be supported by Oakley, its official eyewear partner, which returns for the fourth consecutive year.
