OpTic Texas and Atlanta FaZe will headline the opening day of the Call of Duty League (CDL) Championship Weekend event.

The season-ending tournament sees the top eight franchises from the regular season compete for a chance to be crowned Call of Duty world champion.

CDL Championship 2025 Day 1 Schedule

The two franchises, which are synonymous with Call of Duty esports, will be the fourth and final match of day one, taking place on June 26th, 2025, at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium in Kitchener, Canada.

Vancouver Surge and Miami Heretics will open proceedings in the first best-of-five series of the event, followed by Los Angeles Thieves taking on Boston Breach.

Toronto Ultra and Carolina Royal Ravens are the third match of day one, with the Canadian franchise hoping for a strong performance at Championship Weekend, which is being hosted by franchise owners OverActive Media.

Considered one of the most storied rivalries in esports, OpTic Texas will face off against Atlanta FaZe in the final match of day one. OpTic heads into the event as the defending CDL Champions after taking home the title in 2024.

Atlanta is one of several franchises in the conversation to win the final tournament of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 season after kicking off the season with victories at Major 1 and Major 2.

How To Watch CDL Champs 2025

The entirety of Championship Weekend will be broadcast exclusively on the Call of Duty League YouTube channel. In addition to the official broadcast, fans can tune in to watch parties hosted by a range of content creators and notable personalities.

For fans in the UK, the match between OpTic Texas and Atlanta FaZe is scheduled to begin at 12.30 AM BST on Friday, June 27th.
