Selangor Red Giants OG Esports (SRG) has become the first team to win three consecutive MPL Malaysia seasons after taking victory at the MPL Malaysia Season 15 Grand Final.

The Malaysian Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports team, backed by European organisation OG Esports, defeated Homebois 4-0 to add Season 15 to its collection of victories.

As a result of taking home the Season 15 trophy, SRG will represent Malaysia at the Mid-Season Cup, taking place as part of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Alongside SRG, MPL Malaysia Season 15 runners-up, Homebois, has also qualified for the event.

The Mid-Season Cup is the largest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament of 2025, with 23 teams from across the world competing for a share of a $3m (~£2.2m) prize pool.

“Whenever the players are not happy with their scrims on certain days, they request to scrim extra. They are willing to work overtime, they are willing to put extra effort,” said Simon Lim, Chairman of Selangor Red Giants Esports.

“This is the prize they get, a three-peat. I’m very happy with the journey, but our journey has not ended yet. The boys will have a rest for seven days and then come back fresh, recharged, and all focused on MSC. We want to try to defend our title.”

The Season 15 victory cements SRG as the region’s best MLBB team after becoming the first to secure three domestic championships.

MPL Malaysia Continues Expansion

Following SRG’s victory, MPL Malaysia has revealed it has partnered with two new brands for the upcoming seasons.

Telecommunications firm CelcomDigi has become the Official League Presenter for Seasons 16 to 18, marking the company’s first foray into the esports industry.

Alongside CelcomDigi, Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Yamaha has become the league’s Official Motorcycle Partner for Seasons 16 and 17. The collaboration will begin at the Esports World Cup as part of the Mid-Season Cup and the Women’s Invitational. The deal is the first time Yamaha has participated in an esports partnership.

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
