VALORANT streamer and former professional player Shahzeeb ‘ShahZaM’ Khan has joined Team Liquid as a content creator.

“Joined Team Liquid! Thank you for an amazing 13 years of competing, excited for what’s next,” ShahZaM shared on X (Twitter).

While the specifics of the contract haven’t been disclosed, it’s expected that he will stream and create content for Team Liquid and watch partying the organisation’s VALORANT matches.

Also, ShahZaM hasn’t officially announced his retirement, he confirmed to us that he has no intention of returning to competitive VALORANT and is essentially retired.

Check out the official announcement video posted by Team Liquid below:

Team Liquid is the second organisation ShahZaM has joined as a content creator, following his stint with G2 Esports in 2024. He has been a key figure in the VALORANT community since its early days, starting his journey with Sentinels as the team’s in-game leader.

Under his leadership, Sentinels won the first-ever international VALORANT Masters event and he spent around two years with the American organisation before both parties parted ways.

ShahZaM was later signed by G2 Esports to compete in the North American Challengers League. However, since the team was not able to achieve desired results, he transitioned into the content creation role.

His contract with G2 didn’t get renewed in December 2024, leaving him as a free agent for the past six months.

Before making a shift to VALORANT, ShahZaM was a professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player for seven years, representing leading organisations such as Complexity Gaming, OpTic Gaming and Cloud9.

Team Liquid has also recently signed popular chess grandmasters Magnus Carlsen and Fabiano Caruana, who will represent the organisation at future events like the Esports World Cup 2025.

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
