Sim racing platform iRacing has joined forces with the Skip Barber Racing School for the 2025 edition of the Skip Barber Formula iRacing Series.

The 2025 season will begin on June 20th and see drivers competing for prizes valued at over $500,000 (~£369,177).

Between June and September, drivers will compete in three-day Hot Lap Qualifiers to determine the top 20 qualifiers, who will then compete in a race.

Entry to compete in the qualifiers costs $20 (~£14.76) and includes coaching sessions hosted by Skip Barber Racing School instructors, enabling drivers to prepare for each race.

At the end of the season, the top three point scorers will earn a three-day racing school alongside a place in a shootout to compete for a seat in the real-world edition of the Skip Barber Race Series in 2026.

The drivers that place fourth and fifth in the standings will earn a single-day racing school certificate, while all qualifiers receive a $200 (~£147.62) credit for a course operated by the racing school.

The Skip Barber Formula iRacing Series has a track record of cultivating talent who have gone on to advance in their sim racing and real-world motorsports careers. 2024 winner Ivan Machado Perez secured victory in the shootout and currently leads the 2025 Skip Barber Race series championship with podium finishes scored in all six races.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
