Esports organisation Supernova has revealed its full roster of players ahead of the Marvel Rivals Championships for Season 2: Hellfire Gala.
The fresh team will be competing for the lion’s share of the $14,500 (~£11,400) prize pool and a chance to progress to Marvel Rivals Ignite Stage 2.
In the announcement online, Supernova wrote: “Say hello to our Marvel Rivals squad heading into the MRC Qualifier tonight!”
The organisation first joined the Marvel Rivals scene on March 29th. Since then, Supernova has competed in various tournaments, including the Vodafone Community Marvel Rivals competitions, TELUS Arena 2025 and The Chronovium Cup.
Marvel Rivals Championships, and potentially Marvel Rivals Ignite, will be the biggest tournament this organisation has participated in yet in the games esports scene.
Since its entry, the organisation has undergone multiple changes to its Marvel Rivals roster. So far in June, ‘ZeroLife‘ left Supernova to become the coach for L9 and ‘Eviolites‘ left to become the manager of Astronic Esports. New additions include ‘TheThunderGod‘, ‘shayh‘ and ‘boomed‘, who joined on June 6th, 2025. ‘Marsism‘ has also switched roles from an active player to a substitute.

Can Supernova Win the Marvel Rivals Championship?
Supernova has been going strong so far in Marvel Rivals Championship, having recently left the EMEA qualifiers with a 9-1 win/loss ratio according to its post online. Of course, this is against a multitude of factions assembled by casual players, and competition will intensify around the playoffs later in the tournament.
In the past, Supernova has lost to organisations such as Ex Oblivionne and Al Qadsiah, so it may end up being an uphill struggle. However, the EU esports scene is less fleshed out compared to North America, so Supernova has a chance to make it big.
The team’s greatest challenge will be facing the two favourite squads to win in EMEA, Brr Brr Patapim and Invitational winners Virtus.pro. However, we will have to wait and see if Supernova manages to reach the Championship playoffs to determine whether it will shake up the EU esports scene, which has been largely dominated by Virtus.pro.
