What is SUPERVIVE?
SUPERVIVE was first announced as Project Loki by independent development studio Theorycraft Games. It is a free-to-play isometric MOBA with battle royale elements, featuring a large roster of characters for players to choose from.
Players drop as a squad into a large, open map in the sky. From there, they kill NPC enemies and players, complete map objectives, and grow in power through levels and equipment, all the while avoiding the incoming storm and being the last squad alive.
There are currently 22 hunters to choose from, ranging from classes Fighter, Initiator, Frontliner, Protector and Controller. Wukong has been revealed as the latest addition, coming with version 1.0, though his class and abilities have yet to be revealed.
Since 2024, the game has been making the rounds online for its early access run on Steam, slowly building up the game whilst giving regular developer updates on its YouTube channel.
SUPERVIVE and Its Esports Scene
Despite being in early access, SUPERVIVE has held competitive events in the past. The SUPERVIVE Creator Cup was an invitational event held from November 22nd to 24th, 2024, featuring top content creators and streamers.
According to Esports Charts, the Creator Cup saw a peak viewership of over 84,000, over 480,000 total hours watched and average viewership of over 55,000.
There hasn’t been an esports event since the Creator Cup. However, given the multiplayer competitive nature of SUPERVIVE, there is a possibility of creator or even professional competitive events in the future after the game launches.
