Mythical Games, the studio behind NFL Rivals, has released FIFA Rivals, a fast-paced, free-to-play mobile soccer game for iOS and Android.

Built on their Polkadot-based Mythos Chain, the game arrives under a multi-year FIFA licensing deal that includes multiple World Cups. Adidas is a key partner in the game, featuring officially licensed stars like Lionel Messi alongside collectible, tradable gear.

From Kickoff to Global Domination

Players can dive into quick PvP matches, live events and a skill-based progression system. The built-in Mythical Marketplace enables users to buy, sell, or trade player cards and equipment without requiring knowledge of blockchain technology.

This seamless approach reflects web3’s focus on accessibility.

Early interest has been strong, with telecoms and national associations already exploring partnerships.

FIFA may even use its new Avalanche blockchain for NFT highlights. Given FIFA’s existing mobile soccer titles have over 500 million downloads and generate $1 billion (£780 million) annually, FIFA Rivals has massive potential.

Later this year, FIFA Rivals will introduce an AI sports agent to guide player development. Other releases include expanded esports competitions, club collaborations, and new game modes, such as PvE Scenarios Mode, which lets users relive historic match moments.

Mythical Games CEO John Linden expects FIFA Rivals to far surpass NFL Rivals’ 7 million players, possibly by 20 times, thanks to soccer’s global reach.

The studio has refined its ‘living economy’ model from NFL Rivals to maintain stable in-game trading.

As FIFA Rivals launches on June 17th, Mythical Games will ramp up global marketing, add new stadiums and animations and enhance PvP features. The goal is simple: turn casual fans into active participants in this blockchain-powered soccer world.

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
