HLTV Awards 2025 returns to celebrate Counter-Strike 2 esports

The HLTV Awards will make its return to celebrate the 2025 Counter-Strike 2 esports scene, highlighting the greatest talent, organisations and more within the industry.

The HLTV Awards for 2025 will once again take place in Belgrade, Serbia and is scheduled to take place on January 10th, 2026.

From categories, Hall of Fame rewards, schedule and more, here is everything fans need to know about the HLTV Awards 2025.

A post online by the official HLTV Awards account shared key information about the upcoming event. Taking place at the Sava Center venue in Belgrade, the event will see an increased number of attendees from 600 to 1000. However, it will remain an industry-members only event.

In an article, HLTV wrote: “Serbia’s unique position as an easily accessible European country that is outside of the Schengen area has proven to be a great location for teams and players ahead of the busy season. Last year, all 15 HLTV Award winners were present to pick up their trophies on the big stage – a feat we hope to repeat with this edition of the show.”

An Awards Conference will take place on January 9th, 2026, and the Awards Show will be held the next day, with the broadcast beginning at 18:00 CET. According to HLTV, the event will once again be organised by Serbian company Relog Media, marking the third year in a row the two companies have worked together on the show.

Moreover, the Awards Show will be sponsored by bookmaker 1xBet.

In addition, the HLTV Hall of Fame returns as it looks to welcome three new inductees. Last year’s winners included Emil ‘HeatoN’ Christensen, Tommy ‘Potti’ Ingemarsson, Christopher ‘GeT_RiGhT’ Alesund and Patrik ‘f0rest’ Lindberg.

Each inductee will receive a Rolex Watch with Hall of Fame inscriptions and a special HLTV player profile. The player will also be featured on the Hall of Fame page, along with an article and video highlighting their career. HLTV and 1xBet will also reveal a Hall of Fame map paying tribute to the inductees.
