The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League (MPL) MENA will return for Season 8 from September 5th to October 18th, MOONTON has confirmed.

The eighth season of the tournament in the region will feature a prize pool of $60,000. Adding to the stakes, however, is that the winner will qualify for the M7 World Championship, while the runner-up will make it to the M7’s Wildcard Stage.

Unlike last season, the MPL MENA S8 will feature an online regular season and playoffs, followed by the in-person grand finals. The venue for the finals hasn’t been revealed yet.

MPL MENA Season 8 Schedule and Format

The Regular Season of the MPL MENA S8 will take place across five weeks from September 5th to October 4th. The eight teams will compete in a single round-robin format, with the top six qualifying for the knockout stage.

This will be followed by the double-elimination bracket Knockout Stage from October 10th to 12th. Finally, the top two teams will converge in the LAN grand finals on October 18th.

MPL MENA Season 8 Teams

The eight teams from the previous season have been invited to compete in Season 8 as well. These are as follows:

  • XProjekt Esports
  • Team Falcons
  • Twisted Minds
  • R8 Esports
  • Axe
  • GS Team
  • Geekay Esports
  • Team Occupy

Last season, Egypt’s Ultra Legends dominated throughout the tournament to become the MENA champion. The team finished on top in the regular stage before cruising through the upper bracket to become the winner.

However, the road was quite challenging, as it faced electricity shortages in Egypt and even had to play one match from its car to qualify for the MLBB MSC 2025.

In Season 8, the squad has moved to Axe and will be defending its trophy under the new banner as it looks to qualify for the M7 World Championship.

M7 World Championship to Take Place in Indonesia

The M7 World Championship is returning to Indonesia after two years and will be held in January 2026. Top teams from regional leagues, including the MPL MENA Season 8, will qualify for the event to compete for the title of world champion.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
