Leviatán has announced that it has let go of the VALORANT professional player Daniel ‘Rossy’ Abedrabbo just a few months after he first joined the organisation.
The departure comes during what has been a rough season for the partnered team so far, following key losses in VCT events such as the Americas Kickoff and Stage 1.
“As of today, Rossy is no longer a part of our roster. We thank him for the commitment and effort repping our colours, and wish him the best in the future,” Leviatán tweeted.
Rossy joined the Argentine organisation on May 2nd, 2025, five months after leaving his previous team, Cloud9, near the end of 2024.
In a response online, Rossy said: “It has been a rough year for me individually, as I have been gifted a very unique set of circumstances. Regardless, opportunities are opportunities, and I am deeply blessed. LFT as an unrestricted free agent.”
Leviatán’s Performance in VCT 2025 so Far
Outside of the recent show match in the T1 Home Ground event, Rossy last competed in VCT Americas Stage 1, where Leviatán ultimately placed 10th out of the 12 teams competing.
The squad saw an early knockout after placing fifth in its respective group during the Group Stage. The partnered team also suffered other devastating losses this year.
While it placed first in the Tixinha & Sacy Invitational, it fell short in other events such as the EWC 2025 Americas Qualifier, placing seventh overall after losing to KRÜ Esports in the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals.
As of writing, Leviatán is currently competing in VCT Americas Stage 2‘s Group Stage. The team seen high and lows so far, with wins against MIBR and KRÜ Esports, and losses from NRG and LOUD.
Though Rossy has departed from the roster, the organisation still has five players under its helm to see the competition through.
