BLAST has announced a partnership with Chinese airline EVA Air ahead of its BLAST Slam IV Dota 2 esports event.
Taking place in Singapore from October 14th to November 9th, 2025, the airline has become the official airline of the tournament organiser’s Dota 2 tournament.
According to a release, EVA Air’s branding will be integrated across the event’s broadcast and on-site print. In addition, the airline will host ‘an interactive booth’ within the arena from November 7th to 9th.
The deal marks EVA Air’s first foray into the esports industry, becoming the latest airline to embark on a partnership. It joins the likes of Viejet and Lufthansa, which have also entered various initiatives involving some of the largest esports organisations in the world.

BLAST Slam IV is part of the tournament organiser’s continued expansion across the world. In November, it signed a multi-year agreement with the Singapore Tourism Board to host four events in the country.
BLAST Slam IV Details
BLAST Slam IV features a mixture of online and offline matches that begin with a round-robin group stage. The top two teams qualify for the semi-finals of the Playoffs, while the teams that place third to eighth earn a place in the event’s Play-In phase.
Teams that place 9th to 12th will compete in the last-chance qualifier. The winner of the last-chance qualifier earns a spot in the Play-In. The remaining teams are eliminated from the tournament.
Four teams from the Play-In will advance to the Playoffs, which will use a best-of-three, single-elimination bracket until the Grand Final, where a best-of-five will determine the eventual champion.
