Complexity has announced the closure of its content creator programme.

The North American esports organisation’s initiative recruited several content creators who acted as its ambassadors across a range of activations.

In an announcement posted on October 8th, 2025, the organisation “sadly announced” the end of its content creator programme after ten years. Complexity hasn’t disclosed the reason behind its closure.

The end of the initiative is a continuation of Complexity downscaling its operations. In June, the organisation announced its exit from the Apex Legends esports scene after six years of fielding a roster in the Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS).

“Sad to be closing down our creator program after ten years and working with dozens, if not hundreds, of the industry’s best,” said Kyle Bautista, Chief Operating Officer at Complexity. “So thankful to each and every person that made this program so successful, and wishing the best to those who are departing.”

Complexity’s content creator programme is the latest area of the organisation to be impacted by closure. In addition to its Apex Legends roster, it departed Counter-Strike esports in August, citing economic challenges behind the decision.

What’s Next for Complexity?

With the content creator programme ending, the future of Complexity remains uncertain as it seeks to stay afloat amid economic uncertainty.

The organisation continues to field rosters in Rocket League and Halo, the latter of which is set to compete at the season-ending Halo World Championship 2025 event.

The tournament marks the end of Halo Infinite esports after the Halo Championship Series announced it would be retiring the title from official competition at the end of the year.

Founded in 2003, Complexity is one of the longest-standing esports organisations in the world. After achieving a wealth of success across various titles, further closures of its divisions are a blow for the wider industry and the content creators it represented.
