Honor of Kings publisher, Tencent Games, has revealed that tickets for the championship match of the King Pro League Grand Finals sold out in just 12 seconds.

The championship match is set to take place at the Beijing National Stadium in China, on November 8th at 5:30 PM GMT+8.

It is an impressive feat considering that the Beijing National Stadium, otherwise known as the Bird’s Nest, has a capacity of up to 91,000 attendees. As a result, it is anticipated to be one of the largest esports finals events in China this year.

It is also expected that musical artists Han Hong and Zhou Shen will be performing at the finals in the Beijing National Stadium, singing the 2025 theme song titled ‘神驰的属地’.

Tickets have sold out quickly, but fans can still tune in to the event through the live broadcast on the official Honor of Kings esports YouTube channel and other streaming platforms such as Rednote.

What Is the King Pro League Grand Finals 2025?

The King Pro League Grand Finals 2025 is the second iteration of the event since it replaced the International Championship in the Chinese scene. It is the crowning event of the Honor of Kings competitive season in the region, where the top 12 qualified teams compete for the lion’s share of a ¥70m (~$9.8m/£7.7m) prize pool.

The competition has already completed several stages, including the groups-based Challenger Stage, the single-elimination series Breakout Stage, and is nearing the end of its double-elimination Knockout Stage which concludes on November 2nd.

Defending champion AG Super Play has secured a spot in the championship match, defeating Weibo Gaming 4-1 in the Upper Bracket Finals. Weibo Gaming will face Dragon Ranger or Wolves in the Lower Bracket Finals on November 2, with the winner advancing to the championship match.

Only time will tell whether AG Super Play will retain its crown, or if another team can claim its title as the champion of the China 2025 season.
