The MongolZ has climbed to first place in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) for October 2025, moving from third place.

The October VRS is being used to determine which teams earn an invitation to the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 event taking place in November.

The MongolZ climbing to the top of the October VRS comes after the team won the Esports World Cup in August. Additionally, the Mongolian national team scored second-place finishes at BLAST Bounty Season 2 and FISSURE Playground 2.

The MongolZ knocks Team Spirit from the number one spot, which drops to fourth place after a top-16 placement at EWC and a top-eight finish during the online phase of BLAST Open London.

Elsewhere, FURIA is the big mover following its FISSURE Playground 2 victory. The Brazilian esports organisation’s international roster has moved up eight places from tenth to second.

Other notable movers include the rise of G2 Esports, which moves from 15th to seventh, and Astralis, which makes its return to the top ten for the first time in two months.

October CS2 VRS Invites

In addition to determining the 32 teams that qualify for the StarLadder Budapest Major, the October VRS also decides the teams competing at BLAST Rivals Fall 2025, an eight-team LAN event taking place from November 12th to 16th in Hong Kong.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
