VCT 2026 Locations Offer Something New For VALORANT Fans
Earlier on October 2nd, the VALORANT Champions Tour account shared a pretty exciting early look at its schedule for 2026.
This is South America’s first time seeing a VALORANT Masters event, making the first Masters of the year a pretty exciting one. The VALORANT scene in South America is growing and Riot is definitely acknowledging it. Earlier this summer, Global Head of VALORANT Esports Leo Faria addressed a rumour that a VCT South America league was coming. He stated: “This is top of mind for us and changes are coming in 2027 to address it. But this report is false.”
Following VALORANT Masters Santiago, the VCT is heading to the second Masters event in London, England. This is big news for UK-based VALORANT fans since this is the first time its getting an international VCT event.
The 2026 season will end with VALORANT Champions in Shanghai, China. This was previously announced by Riot Games.
“After the incredible success of Masters Shanghai 2024 with a packed Mercedes-Benz Arena, record-breaking viewership, and a city bursting with energy, we knew we had to come back,” said Riot Games on the official post back in August 2025.
VALORANT Masters Changes in 2026
Masters events will see some changes in the 2026 season. There will be 12 teams instead of eight for the first Masters, which means three teams from each region will qualify.
This will create more matches for the Masters in Santiago and places it at a similar standing to its London counterpart..
