World Series of Warzone 2025 champion ‘Lenun‘ has joined multinational esports organisation Gen.G for the 2026 season.

The UK-based esports player announced free agency in October after winning the season-ending event for Call of Duty: Warzone‘s esports circuit.

Lenun becomes the second Warzone player from the UK to join Gen.G. In September, the organisation expanded into the battle royale title with the signing of the former All Gamers roster of Rhys ‘Rated‘ Price, ‘Natedogg‘ and Callum ‘ScummN‘ Taylor.

Notably, Gen.G hasn’t revealed which player from the existing trio Lenun is replacing. The organisation’s debut at the World Series of Warzone Global Final ended in disappointment, with the team finishing in 20th place.

“Super grateful for the opportunity and I’m excited to get started with the boys,” said Lenun on social media following the announcement.

Over the past year, Lenun has cemented his place as one of the world’s best Warzone players. Lenun recently competed under the Team Vision banner alongside fellow UK players ‘Echo‘ and Ethan ‘Fifakill‘ Pink.

In addition to victory at the World Series of Warzone 2025 Global Final, Team Vision scored a sixth-place finish at the Esports World Cup 2025. In his last tournament representing Team Vision, the trio finished the Toronto Ultra Hot Drop 2025 tournament in third place.

Gen.G In 2025

Throughout 2025, Gen.G has continued to expand its presence across various areas of the esports industry. In addition to expanding into Call of Duty: Warzone, the organisation entered the Marvel Rivals scene in May with the signing of seven players.

Outside of its esports rosters, Gen.G has invested further into its education initiatives. In October, it partnered with 13 universities from across the United States for its Practicum Abroad programme that offers students a three-week programme to study the esports ecosystem in South Korea.
