A few days after Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont’s League Awards, Riot Games has officially revealed 2025 VCT Awards, scheduled to take place on December 7th.

The event aims to celebrate the best performers of the 2025 season across all regions including Americas, EMEA, Pacific, and China

The voting panel consisted of the VALORANT Champions Tour broadcast team and third-party media, along with a pro player, coach, and streamer from each VCT organisation. That said, the team representatives were not allowed to vote for their own players or staff.

Every VCT International League will present 10 awards this Sunday, except VCT China, which will feature eight categories

The contestants were evaluated based on their performances throughout the season across multiple International League events. When it comes to the role-specific awards, players are only eligible for one agent role they played the most in 2025.

Check out the list of awards offered across all VCT regions below:

  • Grand Finals MVP
  • Player of the Year
  • Duelist of the Year
  • Sentinel of the Year
  • Controller of the Year
  • Initiator of the Year
  • IGL of the Year
  • Coach of the Year
  • Most Improved Player of the Year (Not applicable for VCT China)
  • Rookie of the Year (Not applicable for VCT China)

Americas’ G2 Esports secured three awards in 2024, and as one of the most consistent teams across all regions, it will be looking for similar recognition this year as well.

In EMEA, Heretics grabbed six out of seven awards last season; however, following an underwhelming 2025 campaign, fans can expect to see fresh faces getting the spotlight.

Similarly, in the Pacific region, Gen.G Esports won all of the awards following an exceptional season, which included two regional titles and the Masters Shanghai trophy. This year, however, the Pacific awards are expected to be more evenly shared among multiple teams.

Lastly, the 2024 VCT China Awards saw EDward Gaming members snatching four awards. But with organisations like Dragon Ranger Gaming and Bilibili Gaming showing improvement and success throughout 2025, their players and staff are considered frontrunners for 2025 season awards.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
