The Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Paris Open 2025 has kicked off with a ton of action, but it’s not on the stage. The TFT community has been celebrating a proposal that took place at the tournament.
At the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, a man in a suit got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend surrounded by TFT cosplayers. Said TFT: “Paris is truly the city of love.”

Earlier today, the Teamfight Tactics X account shared a video with the caption: “TFT Proposal. SHE SAID YES.”
In the video, the man gets down on one knee and states: “Thank you for coming with me. I know you don’t like long flights. In the future, will you be willing to stay with me for the rest of our lives? Will you marry me?”
As the caption suggests, the woman says yes.
The proposal was very special for fans of Teamfight Tactics. Teamfight Tactics cosplayers are circling around the couple, dressed as popular champions.
Teamfight Tactics also added the song “Ma Meilleure Ennemie” to the clip, a song by Luc Van Haver featured in the Arcane series on Netflix. This could be a callback to the strong romance in the show between Ekko and Powder in an alternative universe in the second season.
The Teamfight Tactics community congratulated the couple, although many noted that the woman appeared a bit nervous. It’s possible that she was felt anxious having so many eyes on her at a massive esports tournament.
The proposal inspired the community, with one player stating: “Looking for a TFT girlfriend (serious).”
Proposals at esports events are nothing new, with fans often using the exciting backdrop to make their moment extra special. Seeing two people share a passion for the same game makes the esports community get all the feels whenever this happens.
Said one fan in response to a proposal at a VALORANT tournament: “Only saying yes if my boyfriend proposes to me when Tyloo is 12-0 up against AG in champs grand finals.”
