VALORANT esports personality Tyson ‘TenZ‘ Van Ngo has postponed the inaugural edition of the VALORANT Community Awards Show until 2026.

The awards ceremony, announced in collaboration with Riot Games and Red Bull, was set to take place on December 15th in Los Angeles, California.

Revealed on November 19th, the VALORANT Community Awards Show is a live ceremony that celebrates both VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) and Game Changers scenes.

Instead of taking place in December, the awards ceremony will take place on February 4th, 2026, at 9 PM PST (5 AM GMT). The reason for the postponement is to allow more individuals to attend the event in person. In addition to the new date, the former Sentinels player teased that the finalists for each category will be revealed soon.

“Hey everyone, we’re postponing the VALORANT Community Awards to February 4th so more people can attend on site,” said TenZ on social media. “Many are away for the holidays, and we want the best live show possible for everyone: players, teams, and fans at home!”

The VALORANT Community Awards Show is the second award ceremony affiliated with Riot Games’ first-person shooter title, acknowledging highlights from the 2025 VCT season. Riot Games’ 2025 VCT Awards took place on December 7th and shone a spotlight on its regional competitions. For VCT EMEA, Fnatic’s Kajetan ‘Kaajak’ Haremski won four awards (Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Duelist of the Year and Most Improved Player of the Year.)

For the Americas, Erick ‘aspas’ Santos (MIBR) won Player of the Year and Duelist of the Year, while Jason ‘f0rsakeN‘ Susanto (Paper Rex) won Player of the Year for the Pacific.

The Growth Of Awards Ceremonies

Several esports scenes are hosting end-of-year ceremonies to celebrate the best players from across the world. On December 19th, Riot Games will host the 2025 LCK Awards for League of Legends.

The developer and publisher also collaborated with Marc ‘Caedrel‘ Lamont for the League Awards 2025. Gen.G midlaner Jeong ‘Chovy‘ Ji-hoon took home the Player of the Year accolade.

Earlier this year, Supercell hosted the Clash Royale League (CRL) Awards, acknowledging top talent and best plays from across the mobile strategy title’s competitive scene.

Outside of esports-focused ceremonies, mainstream gaming awards shows continue to acknowledge esports players, organisations, and personalities. This year’s edition of The Game Awards features several esports categories, including the Best Esports Team, Best Esports Athlete, and Best Esports Game.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
