Fortnite KizunaAI Cup to offer free KizunaAI outfit

Epic Games has announced the Fortnite KizunaAI Cup in collaboration with popular Japanese VTuber Kizuna AI.

Scheduled to take place on January 13th, the tournament will give players a chance to unlock the KizunaAI outfit and Wings back bling early, ahead of their release in the Item Shop.

The KizunaAI Cup is an in-game competitive event open to players across all platforms, including mobile, Xbox, PC, Switch, and PlayStation. The tournament will feature a single session only, and the goal will be to earn points by securing eliminations and Victory Royales.

Oceania

  • Mobile: January 13th, 11:30 AM
  • Other Platforms: January 13th, 12:30 PM

Asia

  • Mobile: January 13th, 1:30 PM
  • Other Platforms: January 13th, 2:30 PM

Middle East

  • Mobile: January 13th, 7:30 PM
  • Other Platforms: January 13th, 8:30 PM

Europe

  • Mobile: January 13th, 10:30 PM
  • Other Platforms: January 13th, 11:30 PM

Brazil

  • Mobile: January 14th, 1:30 AM
  • Other Platforms: January 14th, 2:30 AM

North America East

  • Mobile: January 14th, 4:30 AM
  • Other Platforms: January 14th, 5:30 AM

North America Central

  • Mobile: January 14th, 4:30 AM
  • Other Platforms: January 14th, 5:30 AM

North America West

  • Mobile: January 14th, 6:30 AM
  • Other Platforms: January 14th, 7:30 AM

Players on all platforms except mobile will have to compete in Battle Royale duos mode, while the KizunaAI Mobile Cup will be played solo in Blitz Royale mode.

Fortnite KizunaAI Cup Rewards Distribution

While minimum placement thresholds for Android and iOS will be published in Fortnite’s Compete tab prior to the event, here’s how many players will receive prizes on other platforms.

  • Oceania: 1st to 250th place
  • Middle East: 1st to 250th place
  • Asia: 1st to 250th place
  • Europe: 1st to 2350th place
  • Brazil: 1st to 400th place
  • North America Central: 1st to 400th place
  • North America West: 1st to 250th place
  • North America East: Unknown

KizunaAI will officially arrive in Fortnite on January 16th and the virtual creator will host a special Fortnite livestream on January 24th on her YouTube channel.
