Fortnite professional players Kyle ‘Mongraal‘ Jackson and Martin ‘MrSavage‘ Andersen have announced that they will be joining forces as a competitive duo.

The announcement was shared through a 40-second trailer posted on social media, revealing that the iconic pair will once again play together in the Fortnite Championship Series (FNCS) in 2026.

The two Fortnite professional players will compete throughout the FNCS 2026 season, which shifted from trios in 2025 to the original duos format.

Their journey begins from the FNCS Trial starting on January 31st, 2026, as they work their way up through Divisional Cups and Majors. However, only time will tell whether the two players can make it all the way to this year’s FNCS 2026 Global Championship.

The Dynamic Duo Returns

The pair last played together as part of a trio in the FNCS 2025 Major 1 Europe Grand Finals alongside ‘panzer‘, placing eighth out of the 33 trios that competed.

Following this, MrSavage and Mongraal would go their separate ways for the rest of the season. The two would compete against one another in FNCS 2025 Major 3 Group 3 Europe, but only MrSavage would qualify for the Grand Finals.

While Mongraal’s 2025 FNCS run ended early, MrSavage eventually reached the Global Championship with players Nicolas ‘Chap‘ H., and Lennard ‘rezon ay‘ Sill, placing ninth in the crowning event.

Not too long ago, MrSavage actually announced his retirement from playing Fortnite competitively back in March 2025 to focus on content creation. However, he would return to compete in FNCS 2025 a month later.

Mongraal also entered a hiatus from competitive play in 2021 after playing actively since 2018, which was also highlighted in the reveal trailer. However, the British Fortnite streamer and player returned to compete in FNCS with MrSavage near the end of 2023, which saw the return of OG Fortnite, and throughout the 2024 season.
