GameSquare, the parent company of FaZe Esports, has announced a new campaign partnership with Capcom to support the global launch of Resident Evil Requiem.
The campaign includes creator-led digital activations, seeding initiatives, and real-world fan experiences surrounding the game, which releases today (February 27th, 2026).
It has not been confirmed which of GameSquare’s divisions will be utilised for the new campaign.
GameSquare is a media, entertainment and technology company based in Texas, US, known for its network of gaming, media and esports subsidiaries. It is the parent company of esports agency Code Red, streaming platform Stream Hatchet, and, most notably, owns the popular esports organisation FaZe Clan.
“Capcom continues to set the standard for blockbuster game launches,” Justin Kenna, GameSquare’s CEO, wrote in a release. “And we’re proud to expand our partnership with a campaign designed to reach fans across digital, creator, and real-world channels.”
According to the release, Gamesquare has been building a multi-phase promotional programme since last December. Moreover, the collaboration builds on its partnership with Capcom, spanning multiple prior title launches, including last year’s Monster Hunter Wilds.
“This campaign brings together creators, culture, and community in a coordinated framework,” Kenna added. “Timed to the launch of Resident Evil Requiem, multiple phases of activity have unfolded. The thrill has officially arrived, and we are excited to expand our collaboration. More to follow.”
Resident Evil Requiem is the ninth instalment in the mainline Resident Evil series, renowned for its horror elements and action gameplay, developed by Capcom. First revealed at Summer Game Fest 2025, the game stars series veteran Leon Kennedy and the new protagonist Grace Ashcroft.
Capcom in Esports
Outside of Resident Evil, Capcom has deep ties to the esports scene, with the Street Fighter series standing as one of the most popular FGC titles.
Following the launch of Street Fighter 6, Capcom has organised a number of tournaments. The Capcom Cup 12 Finals is scheduled to take place in March 2026 as the crowning event of the 2025 Capcom Pro Tour.
Street Fighter has also featured in other tournaments, including the 2025 Esports World Cup as part of its partnership with the Capcom Pro Tour, which lasts until 2027. Capcom’s fighting game series will also appear in upcoming FGC events, and is featured in the line-ups for both Evo 2026 and Evo Japan.
