The Saudi Esports Federation (SEF) has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with esports organisations ROC Esports and Team Stallions.
According to a release, the partnership is part of the SEF’s broader goal to establish a comprehensive esports ecosystem. This includes empowering domestic talents and strengthening Saudi Arabia as a leading hub in the industry as part of Vision 2030, a strategic framework to diversify the Saudi economy.
The MoU will see Saudi professionals develop their skills through programmes and initiatives delivered by the Saudi Esports Academy, including the implementation of specialised training programmes, joint initiatives, and career pathways for academy graduates.
ROC Esports and Team Stallions: The Rising Newcomers
ROC Esports is a multi-title Saudi Arabian organisation founded in 2023, primarily known for its presence in Apex Legends. The team finished in the top 24 at the 2025 Esports World Cup Club Championship, thanks to a second-place finish in the Apex Legends tournament as well as a top-eight finish on CrossFire. It also fielded rosters in Call of Duty: Warzone, PUBG, Teamfight Tactics, and Overwatch 2.
Team Stallions, on the other hand, is best known for being one of the top teams in the CrossFire circuit. The organisation’s Philippines roster finished in the top four at the 2025 CrossFire Esports World Cup tournament and were the finalists at CrossFire Stars 2025, the game’s world championship. The team also fields a VALORANT team, which finished in second place in the latest Saudi eLeague Championship, behind Twisted Minds.
Rawan Al Butairi, CEO of the Saudi Esports Federation, commented on the partnerships: “We are thrilled to partner with ROC Esports and Team Stallions, two clubs that contribute to the sustainable development of the Kingdom’s esports ecosystem and the advancement of national talent.”
“Through these collaborations, we will continue to deliver structured programmes and strategic initiatives that strengthen the sector’s foundations and further position Saudi Arabia as a leading global hub for esports, in line with the objectives of Vision 2030.”
