Team Vitality has won its second Tier 1 Counter-Strike 2 tournament of 2026, sweeping aside BLAST Bounty Season 1 champion Parivision 3-0 in the Grand Final.

The result marks the French esports organisation’s eleventh Tier 1 victory over the past 12 months, cementing the international roster’s place as one of the greatest Counter-Strike teams of all time.

How Team Vitality Won PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026

Team Vitality made light work in the Group Stage, defeating G2 Esports, The MongolZ, and MOUZ to book its place in the playoffs.

The international roster began its playoff campaign with a 2-0 sweep of Aurora Gaming, setting up a rematch with The MongolZ in the semi-finals. Despite The MongolZ managing to force overtime in the opening map, Team Vitality held firm to secure another 2-0 sweep and a place in the Grand Final for a chance to continue its run of dominance.

Parivision kicked off the best-of-five finals on the front foot, taking the first four defensive rounds. Team Vitality responded decisively with seven consecutive attacking round wins on Overpass. Both sides continued trading rounds before a one-versus-two clutch from Robin ‘Ropz’ Kool halted any kind of Parivision momentum before securing a 13-10 win for the early series lead.

Dust II was a more one-sided contest, highlighted with a masterful defensive hold from William ‘mezii’ Merriman to end the first half with a 9-3 lead. Parivision couldn’t overturn Team Vitality’s huge lead, resulting in the defending Major champion taking a 13-4 win to move within one of lifting another trophy.

Inferno proved a much closer battle between two of Counter-Strike’s best rosters. A ninja defuse from Dzhami ‘Jame’ Ali coupled with a one-versus-two clutch from Ivan ‘zweih‘ Gogin, saw Parivision end a scrappy opening half with a slender 7-5 advantage.

The Parivision momentum continued into the second half, with Andrey ‘BELCHONOKK‘ Yasinskiy securing four eliminations in the second pistol round to put Team Vitality on the back foot. Team Vitality closed the gap with standout moments from Shahar ‘FlameZ‘ Shushan and an incredible one-versus-two spray transfer from Mathieu ‘ZywOo’ Herbaut, forcing overtime.

Team Vitality found itself in full control in the first overtime period, and marched on to a 16-13 win to complete the 3-0 sweep.

Another ZywOo Masterclass

ZywOo continued to demonstrate his incredible run of form on the Cluj-Napoca stage. His one-versus-two spray with a rifle, combined with his high-impact AWPing, saw the Frenchman take home his 30th MVP medal, becoming the only Counter-Strike player in history to do so.

Following victory at Cluj-Napoca, Team Vitality has a three-week break before it returns to action at BLAST Open Rotterdam, taking place from March 18th to 29th. Notably, the team won’t be competing at ESL Pro League Season 23 beginning on February 27th.
