North American esports organisation TSM has signed the Project Delacruz roster ahead of the RLCS Boston Major.
The signing marks the organisation’s return to Rocket League esports after its previous roster left in November 2025, following the end of last year’s Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) season.
Unveiled on February 17th, the trio of Leonardo Raffael ‘Catalysm‘ Christ Ramos, Kevin ‘Kevin‘ Ameye, and Nik Aiman Hakim ‘Sphinx‘ Bin Nik Azhar have dominated the APAC region throughout the 2026 season. The team has won all three regional online Opens to secure a place at the Boston Major.
The Boston Major is the first of two RLCS Majors taking place in 2026. Emanating from Boston’s Agganis Arena, 16 teams from across the world will compete for a share of a $354,000 (~£260,880) prize pool. In addition to prize money and the trophy, RLCS Points are also up for grabs.
TSM is no stranger to Rocket League esports, having fielded a roster in the car football title since 2019. The organisation has struggled to find success in high-profile events. Its best result came in RLCS Season 7, where it scored a sixth-place finish.
In recent months, Rocket League has seen a huge surge in player count, recording a peak of over one million across all platforms on February 16th. Viewing figures also continue to hold strong, with the third EU Open event hitting a peak of 201,637 during a match between Karmine Corp and Gentle Mates, according to Esports Charts.
Rocket League’s Continued Appeal
The simplistic formula of Rocket League makes it an appealing esports title that’s easy to understand for casual and competitive players alike. As a result, the title has attracted some of the world’s largest organisations fielding rosters in international tournaments.
The Boston Major is the second international tournament of the RLCS season, and with several teams hitting form, it will be interesting to see if TSM can continue its strong online form onto the big stage against some of the world’s best teams.
