Rainbow Six esports personality Ragheed ‘ElConTeH‘ has been appointed as the new Head of Esports for MENA esports organisation Geekay Esports.
The appointment was confirmed in a recent X post, where ElConTeH commented on Geekay Esports’ Rainbow Six Siege team joining the Europe MENA League (EML).
Speaking on the organisation’s direction, ElConTeH stated: “Joining EML is a move that shows our real belief in the Rainbow Six Siege competitive scene and in building something long-term rather than a short-term hype.”
ElConTeH’s Journey: From Caster and Coach to Esports Leadership
Esports veteran ElConTeH takes on the role after working in several positions within Geekay Esports. He first joined Geekay Esports as its head coach in February 2022 before becoming the organisation’s Head of Operations in May 2022.
Alongside his roles at Geekay, ElConTeH has been an active caster and analyst in the Rainbow Six Siege competitive scene for several years.
ElConTeH started out as a commentator and a player between 2018 and 2020 before moving onto casting and coaching full-time in 2021.
He notably moved on to provide Arabic commentary across multiple regions for “Gamers Without Borders” 2023, and he featured as a commentator at Gamers8 2023. Most recently, he served as an Arabic commentator for Rainbow Six Siege’s Esports World Cup events in 2024 and 2025.
What is Geekay Esports?
Geekay Esports is a professional Saudi-Emirati esports organisation based in the UAE and Europe. Whilst the team competes across several titles, its strongest presence is in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege within the Europe and MENA region.
The team has built a reputation over the years as one of the more stable competitors across regional competitions, regularly competing in MENA events such as the Saudi eLeague and international qualifiers, including the Six Invitational pathway and Esports World Cup tournaments.
The current Rainbow Six roster includes Lucas ‘Hungry‘ Reich, Peter ‘Pacbull‘ Bull, Nikita ‘RORICK‘ Kruchinkin, and Gábor ‘Rexhun999‘ Czikai.
ElConTeH, now serving as Geekay’s Head of Esports, will oversee the team’s competitive operations, while ‘Murarz’ will handle coaching duties, and Noureldin ‘Elchabo’ Alrfaae manages overall team affairs.
Geekay Esports Rainbow Six Current Form and League Position
Geekay Esports’ Rainbow Six team will compete in the Europe and MENA League 2026 as a BLAST R6 affiliate. This follows a 2025 Tier 2 season that included wins at R6 Central Combine and R6 South Breach.
In the Six Invitational 2026 Europe & MENA Last Chance Qualifier, Geekay beat Gen.G Esports 2‑1 but fell 0‑2 to Virtus.pro and Shifters, failing to qualify for the tournament. In the end, Geekay finished fifth overall in the Six Invitational LCQ.
