Norwegian esports organisation Metizport has announced a major partnership with tech giant Samsung.

Samsung has become the official monitor and memory partner of Metizport’s Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) team for 2026.

As a result of the collaboration, Metizport’s CS2 training facilities will be equipped with Samsung OLED Monitors. The Samsung Odyssey OLED logo will also be featured on the right sleeve of the CS2 players’ jerseys in future events.

“We are proud of the trust Samsung has placed in us and are genuinely excited to further develop this collaboration,” wrote Arjan Sydhagen Dalsøren, CEO of Metizport.

“Working closely with such a strong and exclusive global brand gives us both inspiration and motivation to continue elevating the organisation.”

The esports organisation highlighted that its agreement with Samsung is ‘one of the largest’ agreements made by Metizport. Samsung joins the Norwegian brands portfolio of partners, which includes other tech and peripheral companies such as Logitech G, Andaseat, AIDER and more.

“Esports places extreme demands on precision, response time and performance,” said Frida Carlsson, Category Marketing Manager at Samsung.

“Through our collaboration with Metizport, we are able to demonstrate how our monitors deliver top-level technology in an environment where the margins are minimal.”

Samsung has partnered with a number of esports organisations and events over the years, working with teams such as Virtus.pro and launching tournaments such as the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Campus Series.

Metizport in Counter-Strike 2

Metizport has been a long-time competitor within the CS2 esports scene, making its debut back in August 2020.

Some of the team’s greatest accomplishments include placing between third and fourth in the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown in 2024, where it won $12,500 (~£9,385) in winnings. That same year, the team would go on to win the 2024 Svenka Cupen after defeating Ninjas in Pyjamas 3-0 in the Grand Finals, and placed fourth in the IESF World Esports Championship.

2025 saw the team qualify for the BLAST.tv Austin Major after placing within the top five teams of the European Regional Qualifier, though Metizport would suffer an early elimination.

The team has competed in a number of C-Tier and B-Tier tournaments in 2026 so far, placing between fifth and eighth in the CCT Season 3 European Series and runner-up in the De_Airport Masters event.
